What BuildFolk is

BuildFolk is a community and a series of free, live build sessions for people learning to build real tools with AI. It is provided for educational and community purposes. Nothing here is professional, legal, or financial advice.

Who can join

You should be at least 16 and able to enter into these terms. The community is aimed at working professionals and product-minded people.

Community conduct

By taking part, you agree to:

• Be respectful and helpful to other members.
• Share real work, including the rough and unfinished. That is the point.
• Keep it about building. No spam, no link-dumping, no pitch threads.
• Not harass, threaten, or post illegal, hateful, or infringing content.

We may remove content or remove members who break these rules, at our discretion, to keep the community useful and safe.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you share. By posting in the community, you give us permission to display and share it within the community for the purpose of running it.

Our content

The BuildFolk name, brand, site, and materials are ours. Please do not copy, resell, or misrepresent them as your own.

Third-party services

We use services such as Slack and Luma to run the community and events. Your use of those is also governed by their own terms.

No warranty

The site and community are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the site will always be available or error free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuildFolk is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or community.

Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the site or community at any time, particularly if you break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes.
